Halloween 2009

We went to mom and dad's for the week-end. Lexie was baptized on Sat. and then we took sweet Kylee trick or treating to Aunt Sally's and Tina's! She looked so cute in her angel costume. It was a fun week-end!

We love you Lexie!

Kylee Mae Adams, we love you!

Family Outing

This year we took our family to Heber City for the week-end. The adventure started at the Hogle Zoo. The kids had such a fun time. Hannah and Paytton loved the animals. We would stroll them up to see them and they would climb out of the stroller and run to see the animals. All the grandkids got a stuffed animal for a souvenir. Hannah picked out an elephant, which she named Lori, Paytton picked out a monkey, Carson picked out a snake, and Grandma picked out Kylee a baby Koala.

After the zoo, we stopped at "This is the Place Monumnet" and then headed to Heber City. We stayed in cabins, which were a little small, but we made it work! We played games, ate, went on the Heber Creeper, and enjoyed being together. It was a fun time when everyone is together. I love it! We missed you Tami and Grayson!

April's mom made the girls matching dresses. We tried to get some photos of them in their cute dresses. Love the crazy poses, and especially Hannah's hair. Her dad was very proud of her hair!!

Homecoming 2009

Karli you look so pretty in your dress! I can't believe it is your last high school homecoming! You're beautiful!

Kylee's Blessing

Yes, I am slow at getting things updated. Kylee was blessed on Oct. 11, 2009. Her daddy gave her a beautiful blessing. This little girl is loved so much! Here are a few pictures of her special day!

Elder Adams

Blake is doing well in Salvador. He had his first baptism and is loving his mission. Here are some pics from the mission field!

Medesto California

I am slow on this update, but better late than never! Ben, Karli, Mom and I went to visit Keisha and Bryce in California. It was so much fun to visit them for a few days. We did a little site seeing while we were there. We visited San Fran and saw the Golden Gate Bridge, drove down the crookedest street, and went into a WWI ship and submarine, they were both very cool! We went and saw the Winchester house, crazy lady! It is one of those things you need to see, so add it to your bucket list! We also went down and saw the aquarium in Monteray. It was so awesome! I especially loved the Sea Horses and the jelly fish. We had a super fun time! We went swimming, and watch Bryce beat all his friends in various competitions!!! Here are a few pics of the trip! Thanks Bryce and Keisha!

Lava Hot Springs

Last weekend we went to the Manning Family Reunion. It was fun to see everyone again! The weather was a little cool, but it didn't slow down the fun. We played games, went swimming, soaked in hot pools, laughted, ate.... We had a night hike on Sat. night to learn about our ancestors. Ben, me, mom, dad, Aunt Diane, and Dave were the actors and actresses! Thanks for your help. Everyone enjoyed learning about these wonderful people! Here are a few pics of the weekend!

Happy Birthday Mom!

Mom celebrated her birthday with us on Monday. After Blake was set apart, we had a cook out and celebrated mom's birthday! We love you and appreciate all you do for our family! It was fun having you here for all of the missionary events that happened last week! Love you!

Off to Brazil

Blake left on Tuesday, May 19, 2009, to serve an LDS mission in Salvador, Brazil! We had a wonderful week-end with family and friends and it was so much fun having everyone here! Blake spoke in church and did a great job. He has such a strong testimony of the gospel, he will be a great missionary! After church we had a nice dinner with all of our family and a lot of Blake's friends! It was a great day! Over the week-end, they played ball, cards, Mario Cart, and had lots of laughs. On Sunday evening, it was sad to see brothers say good-bye for two years. It was so sweet to see Blake kiss his fingers and then put them on Keisha's belly to say good-bye to his niece. Hard to believe that she will be eighteen months old when he returns. The airport was a happy/sad time for me. I am proud of him for serving the Lord and know he will learn and grow so much. BUT I sure will miss him! When we arrived at the airport Blake met several young men headed for Brazil. They became "travel buddies" for the day! They were instantly friends and all waited for one another to get their luggage checked in and then get through security. When Blake went through security, he turned and blew us all a kiss, with a great big smile! On Wednesday I received a phone call that he had arrived and was doing well. Thanks to all of you for your love, prayers and support! We love all of you!
